The “Fachschule Schloss Stein” is an institution which focuses on tourism and social studies. The pupils are aged from 14 - 17, mainly girls. In November 2012 the school celebrated its 65th anniversary and was presented in a totally rebuilt building, which offers the students a very high standard.

Our educational aims are the apprenticeship in fully qualified waiters/waitresses and cooks as well as the education as health care assistants.

Furthermore the school´s aim is to educate their pupils to behave "environmentally friendly" in many different fields. They are taught to prepare their own food by using seasonal and regional products from local farmers. In the school garden they also get to know how to raise various plants without using chemicals etc. Throughout the year the school works on projects in different fields, e.g. developing the students´ personality, healthy nutrition and environmental awareness.
