Final presentation

 

The two weeks passed very quickly but the last evening gave us the opportunity to review and think back on an exciting time we had all spent together. At the beginning of the presentation host parents, teachers and participants of the project met in the hall. The European anthem was sung in Bulgarian and German and speeches were made. Thanks to the topic "Water – Source of Life“ a drinking well was inaugurated festively. The well was designed by the artist Barbara Pranger, who was a former student of Schloss Stein.

The heads of both schools expressed the importance of such projects for a better understanding of different cultures in a common Europe.

Bulgarian and Austrian folk dances were presented in colourful, traditional costumes.

The evening was rounded off by a delicious Styrian buffet, prepared by the staff of Schloss Stein.
